Naughty America Launches 3D Girlfriend Builder

The company behind Naughty America have long been pioneers in porn tech, and they are continuing that fine tradition with a 3D girl creator platform at BuildGirlfriend.com. The famous teen porn studio behind TMWVR has launched a second, very similar VR site called AmoreVR, featuring a similar cast of nubile young women.

Figurobot Launches Latest Desktop Humanoid Companion

Chinese companies, mostly operating out of Shanghei, continue to lead the way in “humanoid companions”, but Figurobot are doing something a little differently. Their super cute humanoids are designed to be small enough to fit on a desktop, shelf, or bedside table.  They currently have two different Kickstarter projects, an upper torso humanoid and a full-length minature humanoid that can dance.

According to Figurobot, their humanoids can understand the user’s emotional state, and eventually will not only be able to “see’, but also smell and taste. Figurobot desktop companions can also be controlled via a smartphone app. This allows you to adjust personality, “train” it for custom expressions, as well as real-time control of facial expressions.

Not to be outdone, the US company Realbotix launched it’s latest range of humanoids (still loosely pitching “companion” as a possible use case). These two come in full-length and upper body versions. Bigger than the Figurobot humanoids, the head and torso editions of the “Echo” range are just small and light enough to fit on a large flat surface such as a coffee table.

Back in January I asked if 2026 would be the year of 3D AI companions. I had in mind the Gatebox style “holographic” projections in glass cases that were showcased as Kickstarter projects by several companies at the CES in Las Vegas. It seems that physical humanoid desktop companions might get there first.
