Brian Sloan Adds Gimmicky ‘Addiction Warning’ To Autoblow AI

Autoblow inventor Brian Sloan has started adding health warnings to his porn synching blowjob toys, informing buyers of the potentially addictive risks of using them. This gives me the same vibes as Sergio Santos a few years ago, and his widely reported claims that his ‘sex robot’ Samantha has been sexually assaulted at an exhibition. Yes, it was a good marketing gimmick, but it also gave rabid feminists fuel to demand that sex robots be banned. Sergio, and his alleged sex robot, have barely been seen since. I wrote more about Sloan’s Autoblow addiction warning here.

OpenAI Liberalizes ChatGPT Policy On Erotica

OpenAI have officially relaxed their rules on the generation of erotic and other previously banned adult uses of their ChatGPT tool. There still seem to be some caveats, but as it wasn’t impossible to ‘jailbreak’ the restrictions previously, then we can expect to see a lot of people producing some very ‘erotic’ stuff going forward.

Conservative Thinktank Publishes Another Anti-digisexuality Survey

Rather like porn, AI companions (primarily AI girlfriends) are in the crosshairs of activists from both the feminist and the ‘pro-family’ Conservative camps. The latter fear that AI girlfriends will replace the family, the former fear that they will replace women. Both camps like to equate AI companions with porn, as being of the same nature and presenting the same corruptive threat to society. The Conservative ‘Institute for Family Studies’ published the results of a survey of young adults which found that “Relational and erotic AI is likely to encounter less disapproval from daily pornography users and those who come from non-intact households.” It also found that “Respondents from intact families are more likely (61%) to be against AI friendships than their counterparts (52%).”

Meanwhile, an ‘online pharmacy’ conducted a survey of 1,000 people and – like other surveys over the years – found that (surprise, surprise) women are less positive about sex robots. In this case, the survey found that women are significantly more likely to regard their partner having sex with a bot as ‘cheating’. This rather ties in with the above IFStudies survey, and its finding that porn users are more OK about AI companions, presumably because they see it as an extension or porn and masturbation.

For those looking for more academic studies, and hopefully not examples of ‘advocacy research’, ‘a bibliometric analysis of publications on the ethical considerations of sex robots’ appeared in Nature magazine this month.

Kim Sae-ron’s Death Exposes South Korea’s Hypocricy Over Deepfake Porn

Yet another young South Korean celebrity has committed suicide. Kim Sae-ron was a talented and successful young actress whose career spiraled when she was caught drink driving in 2023. She had been filming a major TV drama (Bloodhounds) at the time, but her appearance was largely then edited out. Since then, she has suffered from a tide of online bullying and criticism from ‘fans’, similar to many other actors and K-pop stars who fail to live up to the high standards expected of them. South Korea has led the world in anti-deepfake porn hysteria, with a considerable percentage of all deepfakes generated in the country and largely featuring K-pop stars and other female celebrities. It recently introduced the most draconian laws yet, with even viewing a deepfake porn video potentially resulting in long prison sentence. Yet it appears to do nothing about the celebrity bullying culture that is actually taking lives.
