Realbotix Launch Humanoid Companions At CES 2025
Realbotix, which was famously trying to make the first sex robot – a Scottish android named Harmony – was last year taken over and rebranded as a more general SFW producer of humanoid robots. However, that clearly didn’t mean that they were going to inflict upon humanity frumpy or overweight SJW type robots. The company showcased their latest work at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, and it was pretty impressive. Harmony has gone and has been replaced by ‘Aria’ – an equally beautiful and full-breasted young lady that has not only a far superior AI conversational ability, but a full range of facial expressions too. She can even move about a little, although this is mainly just swinging her arms around like an eccentric professor.
There are also other characters, including another hot babe (named Melody), as well as an elderly man. Rather than replacing a head, the robot can change faces simply by removing its ‘mask’. According to the video above, Realbotix hope to put sensors into the masks so that the robot knows ‘who it is’, and switch personalities and behaviour accordingly. You can change the emotional mood of the robot through a smartphone app.
This all represents real progress, even if they are no longer being marketed as ‘sex robots’. I’m not aware if any of the tech journalists at CES tried to squeeze the breasts of Aria or Melody, but I’m sure there is ample naughty fun to be had with the robogirls. And the good news is that they are ready to buy now, although you will certainly need deep pockets to afford one. the full-bodied version of Aria will set you back an eye-watering $175,000. As the journalist in the first video explained, expect to see this first generation of AI humanoid hotties to appear in themeparks rather than bedrooms.
