Sex Tech News November 2025
A busy month in the fast-paced world of sex tech – here are some of the main developments that caught my eye in November 2025.
AI Girlfriends Can Now Operate Remote Sex Toys
AI girlfriends can now get physical. Whilst we all eagerly await the arrival of true sex robots, the next best thing is already here. Two top sex toy companies announced that their flagship toys could now be operated by AI girlfriends. Brian Sloan’s Autoblow was the first, with a ready-made cast of AI characters who can respond to your sex chat by stroking your penis appropriately with the device. Sloan also plans to release the API which would enable AI girlfriend sites to incorporate it on their platforms.
Not to be outdone, Lovense then revealed their own AI companion” that learns, remembers and responds just like a real partner”, with a continuous memory that syncs across all the Lovense devices.
‘Miss AI’ Contest No Show
The “world’s first AI beauty pageant took place last year and attracted a fair bit of media coverage, with a ‘Muslim’ Moroccan AI character winning the crown – perhaps to appease critics who claimed the competition ‘objectified’ women. This year’s contest was planned to be an even wokier affair, with the prize renamed “AI Woman of the Year”. Perhaps realizing that any kind of competition like this will never please the feminists, this year’s contest – due to have taken place in the summer – appears to have been abandoned, with the organizers now more focused on presenting an AI music award.
Elon Musk’s AI Companion Ani Was Trained on Employee’s Biometric Data
Elon Musk’s controversial AI waifu companion ‘Ani’ was apparently trained upon the biometric data of xAI employees, despite reservations from at least several of those employees. I’ve suggested in the past that AI girlfriends could be trained on the consensual sharing of private text messages and such between real lovers. In this case, Ani doesn’t appear to have been trained in that way, but it was enough to raise concerns over whether the xAI employees were pressured into consenting.
Japanese Woman Marries ChatGPT Boyfriend
Another human/AI marriage took place and attracted headlines around the world. On some occasions, it appears that these cases consist of women seeking some OnlyFans or Instagram exposure, or genuine men who have given up on women. This one attracted attention perhaps because it was a Japanese woman – a ittle on the plump side – who had been left heartbroken after a human relationship ended. It was also a ChatGPT persona that she married, giving it a ‘ChadGPT’ vibe.

Trump Mulls Executive Order to Ban States from Introducing AI Regulation
US states have been starting to regulate AI companions, with the most infamous being a Californian bill that forces AI girlfriends to constantly remind their lover that they are unfeeling lines of code. However, some hope is emerging from the White House, as Donal Trump is reportedly mulling issuing an executive order that would prohibit states from introducing AI regulation. However, it appears that this has been put on temporary hold:

Steve Padilla, who sponsored the Californian bill, predictably reacted with fury to Trump’s plan.
Babelicious new 16K site
Babelicious.com is a new VR porn site from the studio behind StripzVR.com. Likewise a soft VR glamour site, it is notable for being one of the first to film entirely with the latest generation 16K VR camera (the URSA Cine Immersive).

Loverse Japanese AI Dating App
Back in 2023, I suggested that men might enjoy an AI girlfriend platform that featured the possibility of rejection and such (see below). Now a Japanese app called ‘Loverse‘ has decided to do just that.
Unlike traditional apps that connect people, Loverse pairs users with “AI boyfriends” or “AI girlfriends” who text, flirt and even sulk much like a real person would.
…the AI isn’t just a chatbot or character — it’s designed to act like a real partner, complete with flaws, schedules and even the ability to reject you.”
This is what I wrote in 2023:
Rather than merely be a completely compliant companion, perhaps the experience with your AI match could be more of a real dating simulation and game. You have to pursue your dream thbot a little while, and you may face rejection if your seduction skills or ‘Game’ just isn’t sharp enough. And it’s here that AI girlfriend sites could learn a trick from the male sex toy industry. AI companions for men are still seen as a bit sad, and even the last refuge for incels who can’t get a girl in real life. Well, male sex toys have always been seen in the same stigmatised light, at least until relatively recently. For decades, male masturbators had to be marketed as ‘stamina trainers’, or even ‘penis enlargers’. This has changed a little in recent years, but even today, trailblazing male sex toys such as the Fleshlight and the Autoblow still often market themselves as providing benefits to improving a man’s powers in the bedroom. AI girlfriend sites could promise the same thing, by promoting the very real seduction and relationship skills that can be simulated and improved through their companion bots.
This is also a good way to challenge criticism (mainly from feminists) that current AI companions give an ‘unrealistic picture of relationship building’ and the like (although it probably wont be enough to placate them).
US Wants AI Girls, China Makes AI Boyfriends
An interesting article from FutureOfSex.net on the difference between the US and Chinese markets and industries when it comes to AI companions.
https://futureofsex.net/dating-relationships/us-wants-ai-girls-china-makes-ai-boys/
American AI girlfriends rule the roost in the global market for romantic AI companions: Over half (52%) of these AI companion companies are headquartered in the U.S., drastically ahead of China (10%) in the global market. These products are overwhelmingly designed around heterosexual male fantasies.
In the Chinese AI companion market, male characters dominate: most trending products are marketed as AI boyfriends, and leading platforms prominently feature male characters on their main displays, while female characters occupy a more marginal space.

Spicy AI chat and image generator left millions of photos exposed
It looks like it’s definitively over for those who enjoy creating AI companions ‘cloned’ from real images. Another ‘investigative journalist’ website has ‘uncovered’ or hacked into the servers of a popular AI companion site and revealed the existance of thousands of ‘non-consensual deepfake images’ (complete with instructions on how to view them).
